Thanks! I thought it was no big deal but the doc says the tissue was injured too, so it needs to be immobilized for two more weeks to heal correctly.

I would consider the results in a relative manner...are you a top notch road racer? Is the car set up well for racing now? If so, the handling will be negatively affected.

Thought the heater core was leaking....wet carpet, dripping on the garage floor.....took it apart (broke the core tray, anyone have a spare???) Turns out the hose was leaking on the pipe. Cleaned it...

I like the Performer RPM very much....much like the old Z/28 highrise manifold. It works on most everything from just over basic stock to well warmed up street engines.

That's funny....I have had the Performer RPM with a Holley (and sometimes a Q-Jet) on my T/A for years with a 14X3 inch Moroso filter with a drop base...yes the top has a rub mark from the underside...

If you don't know anything about carbs, emission controls or tuning you might consider a shop that can set it up for you. Jetting, distributor tuning (advance, curve and base setting) all take years...

My bone stock T/A 305 carb 5 speed 3.73 ran low 15s 1/4mi at Cordova in Illinois in the summer (when it was newer) as a comparison I don't remember the 1/8th numbers anymore.

I put a 406 (400SB + .030) in my T/A and I love it. Loads of torque to roll away from stoplights in second gear and move down the expressway very quickly.
Finding one in decent shape can be a trick...
