Sportsman 2's have 200cc intake runners...which is alright. They are pretty cheap, which is the major convenience. I'm running those in my camaro right now...if you can do some head work those can...

The problem is you won't know and we won't know what is ideal unless you get a tach. I agree with fast82z, but it depends on the car really...some might stall out at higher than 800rpms.

Theres times when your mechanic (or any mechanic) goes to the assumption of a head gasket. Worst case scenario, your heads might be bad...what is his justification on the head gasket?

So i did a 350 carb swap out of a 2.8 FI. I have a problem when it gets warm it wants to vent through the old line that feeds to the injectors...which spilt gas everywhere. I plugged the line but...

Simple Green is a good all purpose cleaner but I used to do detail and I always found that any type of wheel acid can do wonders.

How do you t5'ers prepare and do a good clean launch with stock clutch and flywheel(although my flywheel was $$$ because I had to fit to a 10.5inch clutch with a 2 piece rms...id assume thats...

I agree to not trusting the temp gauge...I can feel my radiator get hot when the thermostat kicks in and my gauge isn't even reading 160 and I have the 180* therm.

I personally would rather go with the dual-fans. Our cars, (especially with that front grill) have good airflow and with dual fans it will help a lot. Does he currently have mechanical or electric...

To be honest I wouldn't see how that would make a difference...I dont think flipping it would make it easier to engage the starter seeing as I assume it is a perfect circle so every direction would...

I have not gotten a torque curve and I do not have a rev limiter and generally shift before 6500 rpms, which is my redline. I intend to do a bit of both roadracing and dragracing. I know nothing...

But what is best for my setup performance wise? I want this car to be as fast as I can get it. I've put 2500 miles on this car in over a year...I don't drive it often and I don't care about MPG.

Which rear end gear do you recommend for my car? To be honest my gas mileage is already horrible and even throughout the summer its not a daily driver so I dont mind losing more mpg for better...

I got a t5 and I am looking to upgrade to a bigger numerical gear. Not sure if I should get a 4.10 or a 4.56 but does it matter about the transmission?
