The TH350 is an easier swap then the 400. I'm doing the 400 swap now. either one requires a torque arm adapter from B&M or Hurst but the TH400 requires a modifed crossmember. The 350 needs a TH200C...

The shortfall entails just as Sonix said, the main's webs are weaker then a

5.5" backspacing is about the max for a stock width rear axle. If it were me i'ld roll the fender lip and step down to some 28's or even 27's. But that's just my 2-cents.

It depends on what your really using the car for. If it's mostly a strip car then a pin-on is most cost effective. Pin-on's are a pain on the street, god hope the wind doesn't take off with your hood...

Most likely the 215cc heads would be too small. Bill Mitchel uses 220's on his MoTown 427's and 454's SBCs. But i could be wrong, it all depends on what you want.

10:1comp and boost generally are not a good mix, you max out your 91octane at 7psi with an intercooler. My suggestion would be drop the compression down to somewhere between 8.8:1 and 9.25:1.
