By the looks of the 454 TBI (which has the same bore center as a 350 TBI) there isn't much material left between the bores. I would say 2" is the maximum bore.

Just my two-cents, the cost/trouble of porting your stock TPI manifold and adding aftermarket runners is almost the cost of a bare holley stealthram, which will provide considerably more airflow...
