Hey this might be a stupid question, but I've been wondering when rebuilding these motors should anything on the inside be greased or lubricated for optimal performance?

I just recently picked this car up. It has plenty of potential.
Has a 3.1L V6 that is leaking oil, but seems to run strong. Shifts good.
Starts up every time.
Has new pads, rotors, and water...

That is them. Weird thing is the back seats match the fronts perfectly. Who knows what the previous owner did. I was just interested in what they were because I have never seen that.
