Thanks Willy. I knew about the over counter 140 mph speedometer, I didn't know there was a 160 mph. About the IROC being a wreck or not, I would be concerned that a dealer would say there is 2,375...

It says on the window sticker "special performance package" do you see that on the spid. should it have N10 dual exhaust?

It's the picture, it has the third brake light. Here is a picture of the engine. I don't think you can tell anything from this pic. I was thinking that because they got it reg. It slipped thru.

This 1986 350 IROC is road tested in the March 10 1986 issue of AutoWeek. If you notice the license plate it doesn't have a dealers plate. It looks like it may have been registered for the street....

The IROC/Z28 race cars began life as NASCAR Grand National rolling chassis built by Banjo Matthews. The engines were Chevrolet 350 cast iron bowtie block with aluminum heads prepared by KATECH Inc....
