If your going with the stock style set up. I'd get ACdelco rotors and Wagner Thermoquiet pads. Those are my favorite pads anyway.
BTW, replacing the rubber hoses is a good idea, as they age swell...

If your car's got A/C equipment than it's probably stock, almost all thirdgen's came with A/C, and most people wouldn't add it if it didn't come with it. Turning the A/C on forces the fan to come on...

The V6's will run forever if maintained too. My 2.8 has 294,000 on it. But it was regularly maintained it's whole life, I've got records back to 1985.
