steering/suspension issue
i serached and didnt really find an answer so i guess i will just ask...my 91 z28 has an issue...i know the sway bar end links are trashed(replacing them this weekend) but my issue is it pulls hard to one side when i brake..is that characteristic of bad ball joints or will the sway bar end links do the trick?

Re: steering/suspension issue
That sounds like the brakes on the side that is pulling are bad. But I'm still learning

Re: steering/suspension issue
Characteristic of bad brakes - maybe need new pads, new rotors, or have a caliper stuck.

Re: steering/suspension issue
gonna agree on brakes. probably a caliper sticking or could be a bad hose. lucky for us, both parts are reallllly cheap at you local part store (always recommend doing both sides too)

Re: steering/suspension issue
do think the brakes need to be done and i will certainly do those asap as im losing braking power and the front end also shakes bad when heavy braking is applied thanks for the input i just wanted to make sure it wasnt a common issue with a major compontent such as balljoins etc. breaks are no biggie done in an afternoon

Re: steering/suspension issue
Shaking with heavy braking indicates warped rotors. Best to just swap in new ones rather than resurfacing. Make sure you install new rubber brake hoses as well - there's 2 in front and one on driver rear - these can make a huge difference in braking power.

Re: steering/suspension issue
Jack it up not by a-arm grab tire at 12 + 6 o'clock then pull and push theres and allowed spec for movement but cant recall If its bad youll probly know if the boots ripped its probly bad or on its way out
