As i'm leaving the gym i see what appears to be an attractive girl leaving the tanning salon part of the gym and get into a late model celica GT. I hurry up and throw my gym bag in the back of my car and get in it. At a nearby light, she got in the right lane and i pulled up next to her in the left. I guess she felt my car was just a ****** mobile or something because she didn't seem impressed by sexy looks of my 1992 z28 (haha). Anyway, as the light turns green i simply accelerate as i would from any stop, 20-25% throttle and no more than like 1800-2000 RPM's. Meanwhile, she romps on hers! Instantly i think, well it would have been nice if she would have winked or told me that she felt like loosing or something so I could have actually been prepared. I put my foot down a bit to show her whats up, and of course i do because once my car downshifts it pulls on her pretty good. Wouldn't you know it though, that as i pass her she hits the brakes and puts on her turn signal and jumps on the highway?!

I mean come on?! What person launches their car from a stop light, just to get to get off the road in 1/8 of a mile?!? At that point, i look like a complete d-bag for even trying because now it looks like I was trying to be ultra macho (as opposed to my normal demeanor of 'slightly egotistical') as i fly down this 4 lane divided road at like 80MPH where everyone else is going 45. So basically, she avoids the loss she was about to be handed, and I look like a tool. Great.

At the very least she could have given me her #...to think i floored my car for nothing!

that's how everyone around here is too... pull up next to some punk kid in a ***** or a chipped diesel pickup, they won't even make eye contact with ya (let alone the nod) and then when you ease out with the green light they mash the go pedal. oh yeah, and they stop a good 10 feet back from the line so they're rolling 10mph before the light even changes.

hahaha i keep seeing her car...but its just been really bad timing. most days shes already in the tanning salon when I leave and today i was outside of the gym doing agility ladders and stuff and she left while I was doing that.

I might have to go tanning in order to see her haha

Nah...When the dumbass center driver, JUMPS from the light, just to get ahead of me to make a turn. I floor it too, to cut them off. THEY made the mistake of getting in the wrong lane, not me. They should go for getting in behind me, or suffer the "loop around" to go where they were headed.

If they would just wave at me at the red light, and indicate they needed to get over NOW, like to make the turn, then sure. They ASKED, let them. They try forcing their way in? SCREW'EM!!

Ha I love making people "do the loop". They can simply let off the gas and pull in right behind me if they need to get over so bad. I was in my truck the last time this happened and the other person swerved at me to make me back off. Sure, go right ahead and hit my strong **** rock sliders, front tube winch bumper and 1/4 inch thick square tube rear bumper. If the rocks can't hurt them, sheet metal sure as hell wont. They finally got the idea and did slow down and come in behind me then decided to pass me on the highway flipping me off

ok gentlemen....UPDATE TIME!!!!!

I finally decide to say "WTF", i'm gonna try to meet this girl. So yesterday i put a note on her windshield simply saying "Adam (black/red camaro) 610-XXX-XXXX".

And at like 9:30 last night i get a text message saying "nice note". We actually had an interesting text message conversation for like 1.5-2 hours. Obviously, this all confirmed the fact that she did know who i am and that was my car, she also admitted to romping on her celica from the line trying to beat me. Anyway, she did admit to having a boyfriend, but the way i figure it, she thinks hers celica is faster than my camaro. So i'll just challenge her to a race and if i win she buys me dinner. That should get me around that problem pretty easily... haha

So yea maybe i will be updating this again...
(not that anyone cares, but i can post the text message conversation if there is interest).

haha i went to talk to her when she was at work (in the tanning salon) after i left the gym last week and i gotta say, she looks alot better from across the parking lot. From 50-100 feet away she had a nice blonde/Southern Cali look goin for her, but up close shes more of a tomboy. shes a nice cool girl, who is reasonably attractive, but not hot enough for me to really desire haha.

And when i was talking to her she did admit that her celica would get stomped by my Z28..even though she ussed to have an 88 Stang Gt/5 speed which she was bragging about. (And would probably beat my car, even though i think she thought my car had a 350 in it).
