True Ram Air Intake

What do you think of this design? It seems like a good idea but will the radiator receive a lack of air??

It just makes the Camaro front end more like a Firebird, as far as radiator airflow. Just make sure you have an air dam.

the dual snorkel setup flows enough for a v8 already, its probably not gonna help a whole lot on our engines. i noticed a bit more gain at the upper rpm's when i gutted the air boxes, try that. and for $100 youd be insane to buy it. you can make that exact same setup for probably $15 by going to home depot and buying the stuff for yourself.

if u run hot with the air ducts run down, u can take one of the ducts off. Then on the side u took the dust off replace the air filter on that side with a blockoff plate.this way when the air is going in the one side it dosent just blow out the other side . used to run my iroc like that, one side flows more then enough for a v8,

Car: 1991 Camaro Z28
Engine: 305 Tpi (and not the average)
Transmission: 5 spd warner
I need the factory parts!

I like the idea and I have made on out of a mold I created a year ago. Mine was fiberglass. watch your temp man, I had a 305 and it got hot because I dident have the lower schroud.

But newho I am looking for a website that sells the OEM style parts that are designated in green on your diagram. From the throttlebody to the cover that hold the air filters.

Please If anyone know please let me know,

Thanks,

Tony

Hmmm???

On what size motor, a 305 needs a whole lot more air to keep cool than a 3.1

I am looking for some too. I think ebay or your local junk yard is your only choice.
