Simple HSR question

Well i was trying to get the HSr bolted up tonight and ran into the typical problem with my 91-92 throttle linkage not clearing the fuel rail fittings. I did what sdome have said and i flipped the rails around so that the FPR is on tha pass. side front of the engine now and the fuel inlet is on the drievrs front side. I am still haveing a clearance issue, though. My fuel inlet has the straight AN fitting on there and it gets in the way whdn i have my fuel line hooked up. What i need is a 90* fitting that will screw into the female hole in the rail itself to replace the straight fitting. The only problem is i dont know what the thread is inside of the fuel rail itself. anyone know what the thread is on the INSIDE(female part) of the fuel rail on the fuel inlet side?

I installed them in the stock manner as directions said to, and just bent my nautilus style throttle bracket out a bit till it cleared the fuel rails. Easiest fix for me and you'd hae to look pretty hard to see its been bent.

I have the same problem and I think I'll try your solution first before I go purchase the new throttle body.

I put mine on the stock manner as well but I dremeled some of the material away on the 90* elbow to clear then painted it to match and it looks like it should be there.

I have an 89 TPI.
I did mine with the regulator on drivers rear (requires 180* fitting)
The inlet in on pass rear (requires 90* fitting)
I also had to keep the schrader valve on the Pass side fuel rail and bend the throttle cable slide to clear the fitting on the drivers side.

As far as thread size onthe fuel rails they are standard -6 Male o ring type.

I am having the exact same problem right now. I'm taking my new 58mm TB to a machinist to trim down the lowest cable guide. I imagine I will have to trim the 90* elbow as well, like earlier stated. Hopefully Wed I can give you the size of that hole on the end of the rail, going to take it to a hydraulic place to get the exact fittings I will need. If you come up with anything until then plz post it!

standard -6 male o ring pipe thread is 9/16"
I had to call up summit and he gave me one that worked just fine.

should be a standard 1/8" NPT.

That's correct, I believe the size is also mentioned in the instructions, also to use teflon on the threads (no O-ring there.)

thread sealer is better.
I have found teflon to leak under higher fuel pressures.
