So does anyone else have 24 karat Gold Plated 18" irocs ?

 

I know you guys wont like the wing

 

Sweet car...how much were the rims? The wing is cool i guess i wouldnt put it on my car but it looks cool. I almost bought a red camaro with a bigger wing than that lol...but i didnt cause it was to big for me...well nice rims how much$

 

looks nice man, i have the chrome 18s, go look at the post "pics of iroc111s", i'll loose the wing if it was my car. but other than that the car looks great.

 

I paid a grand total of $2667.00 The rims and tires not gold plated were aprox. 1800.00 without shipping, the gold was an extra 150 a rim, They are not very fun to polish.

I like your ride with the chrome 18's looks sharp. I may decide to go with just the stock iroc wing but I must have some ***** in me. I like the car, but think that chrome would look much nicer. Gold is just not my style, but if you like it, SWEET! Leave the spoiler if you like it. I have seen worse!

 

I like the chrome as well, thats why I have a chrome and gold

The theme that you went with looks good. I like the gold wheels with the gold stripes/decals on the car.

I myself wouldn't pull it off...I'd be laughed outta Detroit but that just because the guys around here are more into "go" than "show".

I am still unsure about the wing, but if its good for you, its good for me

 

Looks pretty kewl to me, definately nothing I have ever seen before! I hope you've got some lock lugs on those bad boys!! Wouldn't wanna walk out to your car and see it up on blocks.....

 

I'm going to be honest, I don't like the rims or the wings. Pick one wing, but don't have two. Its your car though so if you like it, thats all that counts.

 

You certainly will stand out with those rims Not my choice or preference but maybe up close and in person I could be swayed by the wheels but never the wing. But as said, it's your ride and you're the only that has to be pleased...

I'm surprised at the price though. I checked into a shop here that redo wheels and the cost for chroming is 250 a wheel and now curious why the gold would be cheaper

How did you manage to get 20's??? You must be rubbnig like no other, i have 17"s and when i take hard turns they sometimes rub??

 

When I first read gold plated I thought eeewwww..

But your car looks really good. I think you shoud put some IROC center caps on so you wheels aren't completly gold though.

i'd be carefull where i'd park that if i were you, or else like someone else said, you'll find that on blocks, now that would suck.

YOUR the guy with that purple IROC, that is a very sweet ride. Way better that the red one. I personally don't like the double spoiler action going on or the "ghetto-styled" rims, but whatever floats your boat. Your Purple IROC is waaayy better IMO

 

definately something south of 8 mile......or the border which ever you prefer!

i like it.......it's different, i think that it would look alot better on a black car though. have to loose that spoiler to be taken seriously......i'd leave the iroc or add a z28, the spoiler is a bit much but the rest looks good.

 

Put his gold and your chromies side by side Jeff and I'd go with yours...if you find your car up on blocks at superfest, I didn't see anything, remember that

I liek the gold but would probably look better on a black car with gold stripes/decals. Im not a fan of the wing myslef but its your car if you like it then it matters not what we think, sad part is peopel will tell you its ugly but in reality it doesnt matter what they think, its your car, do what you want with it.

 

I like the gold rims with the red alot more than I thought.
The spioler is a little much IMHO.
BUT, you gotta love the custom golf club hood prop:hail: What is that, a 3 iron? j/k
BTW, your purple car looks really good too, especially before the chrome fender covers.
I like them both.

 

I agree with most here, I thought Gold, nope, but somehow you pulled it off. I dont think they look too bad.

As for the hood prop, sup with that. You spent $2,500+ on the rims and couldnt dish out $50 more for some new hood shocks? J/K

I think the wing looks worse than the wheels. I would have went with chrome, but the gold is different at least.
