Finally!!! Z06 rims on a thirdgen
After a little work and some good amount of pounding and cutting I finally shoved my 17/18" Z06 rims on the camaro. These things look soooo sweet. I will post pics here as soon as my parents get back with the digital camera.

I'm hoping for satin... I don't really care for the chrome knock offs that everyone seems to get. For some reason the chrome makes the spokes like really skinny.
Sorry guys It's been a long day. I lost all oil pressure (again) on the camaro as I was leaving this morning, so I had to work a 9 hour day then tear the engine appart
. Anyway here some ok pics. I will try to get better ones later.

I don't really like em on thirdgens. I think they would look better if you had ground effects.. and a brake upgrade.
I do agree they would look alot better with new brakes. But after dropping nearly 2 G's on the wheels and tires I just don't have the money for them right now.
I didn't have to do much to fit them 2.25" spacer in the front 2" in the back and a little cutting of the bump stop on the drivers side to get them past. I have about an 1/16 -1/8 of clearance on the bump stop and everything else clears easily on the back. The front there is about 1/8-3/16" between the rim and the tie rod end. I am a little concerend about that but it seems ok. They do rub a little on the front when I turn them stop to stop but it's just that plastic piece on the rear side of the fender well. It sticks out a little on mine so it's pretty flexible and won't get in the way too much. Overall a tight fit but it works. Thanks for the compliments. Unforunatly it looks like I won't be driving it for a while. When I went to drain the oil to check out my pressure problem, I found what looks like it could be a piece of one of the engine bearings. Hopefully it's just a main bearing or rod bearing. If it's a cam bearing I'm really SOL
. Wish me luck, I'm pulling the oil pan tonight.

Those C5 Rims do look sweet. They look alot better then I thought they would on a thirdgen. still like the Z06's better
.
BikerTrashDude, The rims weren't that expensive. They were $1000 for the set, and the tires were $900, plus spacers, lugs, locks and all that, I was well over 2 G's. Well worth it IMHO, those stock grey wheels had to go.
Thanks for the compliments all.
