what color should i go with for the caliper on my baer brake kit?
i'm thinking polished; but i'm worried that the looks won't last......maybe red? what do you think?
i'm also trying to decide on the hat of the rotor.......they come finished in black or for so much extra i can change the color to an anodized look. here again i was thinking red; what do you think?

the only silver or anything close is similar to the stock pbr look........
only problem with black is they don't stand out..........hense the point of purchasing a baer kit over something like 1-le.

Don't get me wrong....the polished look would be nice.....but.....I think that a bright red or black would probably look better.......just an opinion.....your car...do what you want....!!

From what I can gather you are going with the eradispeed rotors? If so spend the bucks on a red hat with red calipers.. though of course plain calipers with the black hatted crossdrilled slotted and zinc washed eradispeeds stand out plenty good on their own..
Either way can't say enough good things about my set.

I've always been a fan of matching the caliper color to the body of the car. But it also depends on what the wheels look like. The main thing I keep in mind is 'What would it look like with the wheel spinning?' I love the illusion when the wheel is spinning so fast you can no longer see the spokes but instead the brakes and calipers really stand out. Helps if the wheel is powdercoated a dark color. Also keep in mind how often you'd have to clean them. If it was polished or something I'd imagine you'd have to clean it good after driving in the rain ... every time ...
well, i don't plan on driving in the rain unless i have too.......in which case i could just clean them anyway.
with brake dust you have to keep up on the calipers no matter what color or type they are to keep them looking nice. i'm just looking at the standpoint of what would look better. as far as the rims well you see what's on my car so i guess i'll just have to make my own decision.
i'm going to go with the red anodized hat for sure now it's just the calper..........i'm thinking about going with the red seeing as how i have the chrome rims and the baer words would be a polished look. but the polished caliper with red baer letters would look sweet too.
i really wish i could find a picture of both?
