Got HID's

I bought the Sylvania X4656 HID conversion kit and sylvania's X1010 fog light kit. I am very pleased with them. It lights up the road extremely good. The install took me about 2 1/2hrs to do for everything, from removing stock setup to the HID's.
Here are some pics...

pretty sweet, what does it take to do a swap? Do you have to rewire your sockets or something?

Do they draw more juice from the battery?

Since its a kit, it comes with everything you need to install them, i had to cut some of the metal piece housing to fit the new bulbs and lenses in. You have to splice one wire into the factory wiring for the low beam. It has its own power wire to the battery. Also you will have to drill to mount the ballasts. If you understand how hid's work, it draws more current at startup than the stock lights, but significantly less after the have started up. In fact my hid's don't dim at all when the bass is up.

I really don't see whats so special about upgrading your headlights

Those blue-like lights at night annoy the hell out of me and I want to take a bat to everyones lights that are like that. HEH
