84 T/A project car pics!
Pics of my 1984 Trans Am project car. It has 84,000 miles and the car is immaculate, especially underneath. The engine had a minor fire when a improperly repaired carb spilled over. All for the paltry sum of $200!
Plans are to install an LS1/6spd, full cage to SCCA specs, mid 11's in the 1/4 and road race capability.

Where can you find cars like that for $200? You just have to look in all the right places and ask people. I always have my eyes out for super cheap thirdgens.
The car sitting right next to it is a 1986 Trans Am that I bought for $100 and parted out making over $1,100 on it. The car still has alot of parts I need for the '84!!
572ci big block? That would be pretty wicked, but too heavy and hard to work for a road race car. The LS1 is the perfect motor: lightweight, lost of great mods for it and getting cheaper by the minute.
