shaving turn signals?
Has anyone ever shaved their front turn signals? I was thinking you could take them out and maybe install some LEDs behind a piece of plexiglass and mold it in flush with the bumper. Then paint the whole thing with a very light coat of paint over the plexiglass so the LEDs could still shine through. Ive seen this done before on 3rd brake lights one pickups and it looks really good. What do u guys think? Photoshop maybe?

Don't get me wrong here, I am all for the spirit of customization, 100%, but... for what purpose? I know I'm just programmed to see turn signals there (or at least somewhere) but it just seems blank. An odd mod, but props for doin' it!BTW is it just me or are the fog lights mounted on the wrong sides?

I agree with TPIROC, it just looks too blah. Now the idea of modding the lense itself sounds cool. LED's are a whole lot brighter that conventional bulbs. I'd like to see that done.

hmm... well... you already know you must have a turning signal or the stupid ppl will smash into you. There was some kinda smoke spray someone was using. Looked good on a grey car, and the black out Idea looked good on a black car, white out on white. Anyother color I just cant see though. Like.. it would stand out or something *srugs*

That car reminds me of that Twilight Zone episode where the girl had her mouth all sewn up and you look at her and say "OMG WTF IS WRONG WITH HER!!!!11111"

It looks pretty good in the primered state. I'd really like to see it with some paint. Either way its something unique and different, which is good when there are so many of our 3rdgens.

An idea i saw that would be cool would be to have the led's sequential move toward the way you are turning. AKA if the right turnsignal is on, the lights on that side "move" from the inside to the out. I know its an easy mod on later gen mustangs with the 3 seperate bulbs. I saw it once..looked pretty sweet
