I dont think a camaro can look good/right to me with that hood no matter how clean the car is, as is the case with that one. The car's beautiful, except for the hood.

no way , that hood doesnt belong on a camaro or chevy for that matter. I mean it doesnt even belong on a 3rg gen , but if you do it keep it on a trans am . I almost wish i didnt get the hood, everyone and their mom has that hood now, they have em for civivs and dodge rams. its bs. dont get the hood.

Hmm...The overall picture of that Teal Camaro is nice.
I will however be critical on that hood.
That hood IMO is ugly as sin. It looks like a big nose with open
nostrils....it just looks out of place.
I think a less 'obtrusive' hood would look nicer.

2 things wrong there:
Those rims first off KILL _ANY_ aftermarket mods. To me, they look as bad as having hubcaps on a modded car.
That hood, only multiplies my feeling of disgust... probably because the stock 91-92 rims....
If it had diff wheels, it would rock tho.

I love that picture. Thats the hood I want to put on my Camaro, and now it gives me an idea of how it would look. Those rims need to go though.

I like the hood, but I think it would look waayyy better if it wasn't so round but a little squared off.

Hey Guys. I appreciate all of your opinion's, (this is my car by the way!) I was in a real debate wether to get the ss hood, or the ram air. In a way I'm glad that I went w/ the ram air! I've Gotten sooooo many complements from the hood alone! That's also a new paint job on the car! Rim's came yesterday, Torque Thrust II's. I can't wait to get those on, there will be pic's!!!! The new pic's will have my new Fog lights, and a nice decal on the hood that I think really makes the car! Hopefully by July the car will be lowered 1in. ! btw....How can I get the picture of my car to post under every post that I make on TGO? I want people to associate me w/ the picture of my car! Thanx again guys~Maximus:hail:

I think the hood looks OK on 3rd gen fireturds. but then again I dont like the ss hood either. Best look for a camaro would be cowl and not drasticly high.

That hood is EXTREMELY ugly on camaros. It was made for Trans Ams and should stay on Trans Ams. I would definately go with either the SS hood or a cowl hood. But other than that, really nice car!

I think the nostrils on the hood flow with the openings in the 91-92 ground effects. I don't that hood would look as good with the older ground effects. Keep up the good work Maximus.

I don't see why people like that hood,it is UGLY.It doesn't look good on any 3rdgen or 4thgen for that matter.
:nono:
such an eyesore.....you know i don't care for your wing but i can see why you like it. that hood just does not flow with the body lines of a camaro. why not put one of those rounded spoilers or the 98+ ws6 spoiler on it too. i like to see different things and it's just my opinion but that car would look 100% better going down the road without a hood. your doing so well by changing the wheels and the rest....doing that will just be over the top. what's even worse is it looks so mean on the 98+ ta's, i remember when it came out it just flows so well with the body lines of that car and really looks stout. then people put them on thirdgens..........

unless that's what you want....then put that hood, keep your wing and go mirror tint instead with velvet interior.

You know, I used to dislike the SS hood until I saw one in person. I don't think the lines of the ram air hood flow right with the Camaro. Perhaps if it was a little less pronounced. Having said that, I've only seen them in pics and not in person. The car definately looks clean and props to Maximus for that.

.... and until they make one that doesn't just drop off the back of the cowl like a cliff, I refuse to buy one.

Like many others have said, that hood is horrible on thirdgens in general, not just that car. Rest looks good though.

You really do have to see it on person, I was skeptical at first about buying the hood. As for the paint thanx for the comments, I work @ a BASF paint distributor, mixed the paint myself. Added alittle more pearl, and we also used a tinted primer underneath which helped bring the color to life! It's a real nice shade of teal!

I agree, that this hood looks absolutly increible on a 4th Gen WS6
But i also think it belongs on birds
No I'm not getting the hood, just the first picture of that hood on a camaro that i actually liked, The SS hood would still look better on a teal camaro....

Hey you stole my idea. I saw the ram air hood and fell in love. But now i am stuck as to the ram air hood or the 4" cowl hawks has. I'm really digging both

hood is ok, still prefer my ss and seriously. as far as wheels go I love 91-92 z28 wheels. I have mine with the incuts painted to match and love the way they look. personally I think the 85-87 iroc wheels are ugly, look like those crappy 15"rs wheels.
