6.2L or 383ci. badges or decals...
Was looking on ebay for a set of 6.2L or 383ci. decals or badges. I've seen "6.2L Tuned Port Injection" replacement badges, but I'm carbed. Does anybody know a site that have these?

I know a old chevy diesel truck had a 6.2 or 6.3 L diesiel but the badges were just 6.2 L and didnt say diesel. Dont know where you could find those though. Maybe try Mopar for their 383 engine badges, or body decals.

I don't know how well this shows up, but look closely at my aircleaner decal.

I got that a few years ago from a guy on corvetteforum.com. Unfortunately I don't remember who it was.

Get some old Mopar 383 badges... they had some really nice cast ones for the hoods of 'Cudas and Challengers and stuff... They are all reproduced now too
IMO, they would look really good on the side of a cowl induction scoop, or a power-bulge hood or something.
Look at Year One to check them out.

Someone produces custom Chevy fender emblems that look like the old "350" emblems, but say "383" or "502". I've seen them at all the swapmeets & I believe you can get them at most Chevy restoration places.
I googled "383 emblem" and this was the first place that came up. It's a .pdf file of their catalog and takes you directly to page 66. There are 3 different styles of "383" emblems on pages 66, 67 and 68. 383 Emblem link

Drop Jennifer a line [iroc355z@yahoo.com], she made up the 6.2 Liter decals on my Formula's hood for me. She can make just about anything you need, is very reasonable price-wise, does excellent work, and is pretty uick about it.
Tell her Vern Walls sent you her way. I've also got some chrome 383 Stroker decals she made for me, a "FORMULA" on my front air damn, and a windshield banner I haven't decided if I will use yet. So I've seen lots of her work, it's all GOOD.

Re: 6.2L or 383ci. badges or decals...
I know this thread is from 2004, but I'm getting ready to paint my 89 Formula and have the 5.0L hood decal.
Anyone know where I can get one for 6.2L or 6.3L that would match the other Formula decals?
Thanks!

If you can get me a good, close up picture of what you have, I can make you a digital file for free. ...then just take the file to a vinyl sign shop and have them make it in whatever color and size you like.

Autotrim Design in Billings, MT helped me with 5.0 Liter HO decal. He should be able to help you if you don't have anybody local.

One of the COTM nominees has a 6.2 liter FI in vinyl on his hood. Shoot him a line.
Re: 6.2L or 383ci. badges or decals...
This is a model of the last time I messed with the IROC emblem. I haven't been able to find an original IROC-Z decal, so this is as close as I've got. I believe there are 13 bars on the original.
There are plenty of 383 emblems available. It just depends on the style and font you are looking for. A custom 6.2 Liter could be made.
