2nd to 3rd Gen

I have been thinking of an idea of photoshopping a 2nd gen nose and blending with a third gen. I want to use the idea of having the nose accent the headlights im not sure if you know what i mean but if anybody else can photoshop some stuff, i think this idea can be built on and start comming up with some pretty crazy stuff.

I also wanted to know if anybody has taken clear taillight covers and used the Testors Candy Apple red paint and painted the clear covers. This seems like a good idea but i would like to see what it looked like.

IMO it would not work these 2 generations are classics and shouldn't be molded. You should see a photoshop job just to reinforce this thinking.

itd need a custom hood to follow the lines. then you have a curvy front and edgy 80's styling from the a-pillar back. as i said earler i will reserve judgement. besides ugly or not i wanna see this.

you'd have to chop off probably 2 - 3 inches from the end of your hood, but I bet it could be done. Personally I love the 2nd gen (camaros atleast) front-end look. But I'm torn between a 2nd gen Camaro, and a 3rd gen Camaro w/ 91 - 92 nose and gfx lol

I agree to pretty much all of your replies. I just thought this would be really interesting. The Third Gen front end is awesome but i figured since the 2nd Gens are bad *** too, implement some front end ideas. Well i noticed the 2nd gen TransAm headlights were close to the 3rdGen Camaros so it would probly end up looking like that. I just thought this topic could bring some pretty cool mod pics. I tried it and being pretty good at photoshop, it was hard.

Hey, i have another question. I have a 91 Camaro and i noticed the nose and GFX werent a sharp as my friends 87. I think it looks better sharper. Would these front ends fit on my car and what years are they?

All Camaro noses are interchangable on 3rd gen... some Camaro guys will have to give u details on what years looked like what. I personally like the 92-91 style noses better as well as the side GFX

your probably thinking of the 82-84 style Z28 noses then. The problem is....that the 85-90 91-92 ground effects will not bolt to the 82-84 Z28 noses...
