Hey why everything else had been done to our cars LOL.

Any one done this? What do you think about it on a 91/92 Z28? How does this install and is it easy?

 

Holy crap your car is awesome!!!:hail: I was reading up on this subject myself. I did a search and found a thread on using a Ford Mustang Bullitt fuel door. It is a little cleaner looking than that one, IMO. I think it would look awesome, and I plan on doing it when I paint my car.

 

i'm sure i wont be the only one to say that i dont think it'll fit in well on your vehicle.

plus i really don't believe you need to attract that much attention to the gas door.

 

I've playing with the idea as well. Where did you see/find the piece you show--by the way, don't be swayed by other's people's opinions: Your car, do darn well what you want. As has often been said, opinions are like ***holes, everyone has one.

man it looks good .. especially with z06's on there that gas tank cover thing will make it all look even better imo.. i wanted this gas cover also.. i seen it on an iroc a black one and it looked badass.. maybe i'll ask em where he got it

According to this, the dimension is 4 5/8 inches, which would be much too small for the opening in a thirdgen car. Mine looks to be 6 inches plus. No wisecracks !

I like this idea as well so even some might say it is a stupid idea I say screw 'em and do it, just need to find a bigger one.

Isn't the part of the fender where the gas cap is curved? How would that fit on?

 

Chrome would be the only way I could pull it off. My friend owns a shop and he is a SPARCo retailer he is gettting them in soon. I will hold it up and see how it looks and even include a picture.

It was no way on my next mod list just came across it and was kicking around the idea. Should be interesting to see though. Looks awesome on my friends Saleen Mustang Convertable I will say that!
