Unfortunately it was always just a project car and only that. I have decided that I want to buy a house soon so this might just help out a bit. I wish I could keep it but my living situation is a drag...
The mirrors are off of a 4th gen Firebird as someone had mentioned. The interior is still in need of a few minor touches before I take any pictures and the engine bay is dusty as hell, otherwise I would have thrown some pics up.

you have made one fine piece of art dude. maybe you will get your 3rd gen back again someday. I am hoping to hold onto my Firebird the best I can considering that they are supposedly not ever coming back. However if I am put in the situation like you, you have to decide what's more important

in a word... sweet! I'm amazed at how well you pulled off the 4th gen mirror swap. It actually doesn't look out of place as I would've expected it to. very nice, very clean. Hope another thirdgen f-body lover gives it a good home.
