Ok i finally got my car painted after endless hours of body work and preping it for paint. the car wasnt buffed or anything just straight out of the booth i didnt finish putting it all back together but this is her. be easy on me this is the first car i got painted and im proud of it!

 

Looks nice, I've noticed a lot more Camaro owners lately getting the Ram Air II.

Last one.....yeah i think the hoods look really really good on the cars but thats just my opinion

 

CAr looks nice but that hood some1 please get rex to stop making them I about puke everytime.

Looks nice but, IMO that hood looks terrible on maro's. Glad you like it!

 

Its not that i have to look at it i just think it ruins the looks of a camaro. I dont see how it flows at all cause it just doesnt match the car. Now if that was a stock 92 hood or a ss hood or even a cowl it would look much better imo but the car still looks clean.

theres somehting about the ra2 hoods that i absolutly hate them yet id liek to put one on my car iunno but well see what happens when it coems time for paint ha thats a clean lookin car and i vote leave the buckets white i liek the way they look at night with the headlights on when there white

I think your car looks great, even the hood! You planning any more mods to the body? That thing would look sick lowered aliitle, and some darker windows, and blackouts. White looks great on thirdgens anyhow, of couse I'm biased.

 

Yeah it turned out pretty good, i probably dont plan on doing any other mods to the body, i might lower the car, but im thinking about the TT2's but who knows when money comes into play. hmm seems like alot of people dont like the hood....imo i think the RA2 hood looks worse on the transam/firebirds. even tho the style came from the transams

 

Very nice car, the hood looks just great as well. It's a matter of perspective, those who like the hood and those who do not. If there was a stock 3rd or 4th gen Camaro with a RAII, everyone would say the hood looks great. Funny how things like that are.

 

Yeah i know....lol i cant wait for winter to be over gosh darnit!

It has black interior naw just thinking about stripes on the hood but i dunno, maybe just the ram air stickers on the hood and thats about it.

I like it too...except the rims. I think it'd look nice with black from the top of the hood near the openings to the back spoiler.

 

Are your taillights completely red? It looks good.

 

looks pretty good..but to me...it needs to have some black highlights...meaning the head light pockets and the windows tinted. Then...lowered that thing about 5 inches..haha..cause it looks like it's been lifted. Looks good overall...always room for improvements

Good job with the paint, and the hood is pretty cool. Are those stock exhaust tips?

 

New shocks struts and springs recently(stock) but by the previous owner not me. and i have the black grills for the car, im going to have black ram air stickers obviously lol and sooner or later im gonna have the windows tinted, im not sure about lowering it alot because i am planning on going with true duals.

 

Painted a week ago today, ill have to check yours out

 

its an Edelbrock Exhaust, that is sort of slash cut about 1/4 of an inch down the end of it.

 

paint looks great, the hoods not my cup of tea, but hey as long as you like your car

 

I think the ram air stickers are tacky IMO....I left them off

Looks like you spent lots of time on body and prep work. I'm not a huge fan of that style hood, but it really looks good on your car. You said you were thinkin about painting the headlight buckets......DOOOOO ITTTTTT. It looks a lot better and will break that white up a little. Could use a lower profile tire and a little drop, but I really like it.

Last one, the car came a long ways LG4 305 to TPI swap with 406 ect. then the paint...9 bolt....ect ect ect. bla bla bla money money money....lol

 

I bet a hood like the 4th gen slp hood for camaros with the scoop right at the front bumper would look good. At least i think it was made by slp ill try to find a pic.

 

Its made by slp and its called the Ultra Z hood.

With the way my car looks right now I should not even comment but "I" am not a fan of the RAII hood on Camaros. It kind of looks bulky to me. Your car though, sport it if you like it!
