wow! very nice sportcoupe. i love sportcoupes. i'm actually in the process now of build a new camaro using a 1990 rs as the platform. i just got done last weekend stripping the gfx off and pulling the brackets off the rockers. i love sportcoupes.

Looks great.. but is it? It appears to have been repainted (headlight pockets are black) so there could be a lot of crappy body work under all that. But, someone might have actually done any necessary body work correctly.

Lowering springs, yes, just recently replaced the stock ones with Eibachs. But I measured the drop before and after, and the new Eibachs were exactly the same as 18 year old stock springs.
About the headlight sockets and mirrors, they were black from the factory. I had it repainted same as it was. I know other years the matched the body, but on my 86, it was silver and came with black headlight sockets and mirrors.
I tried to keep it as stock as possible, even putting on new side molding, and having the stripes re-added around the bottom of the car.
The car had some rust, but not terrible. I'm sure I'll get more, I'll just keep on top of it as long as I can.
