My first and only car.

Not bad for 260,000 miles and 19 years of Massachusetts winters?

Looks great.. but is it? It appears to have been repainted (headlight pockets are black) so there could be a lot of crappy body work under all that. But, someone might have actually done any necessary body work correctly.

Either way, it looks really nice.

Can't beat a clean camaro, i think it would look better with body color mirrors rather than black ones.

Aw crap. My bad.

Now its just that much nicer to me. That's one nice ride you have, and I usually don't even like Sport Coupes.

Did you install lowering springs?

Lowering springs, yes, just recently replaced the stock ones with Eibachs. But I measured the drop before and after, and the new Eibachs were exactly the same as 18 year old stock springs.

About the headlight sockets and mirrors, they were black from the factory. I had it repainted same as it was. I know other years the matched the body, but on my 86, it was silver and came with black headlight sockets and mirrors.

I tried to keep it as stock as possible, even putting on new side molding, and having the stripes re-added around the bottom of the car.

The car had some rust, but not terrible. I'm sure I'll get more, I'll just keep on top of it as long as I can.

I used to know a guy with a gold SC. He lowered it and put 17x9.5 and 17x11 ZR1's on it. It was probably one of the coolest thirdgens because it was totally different.
