Pics of my *almost* finished car.

It's been almost a 2 year build, but I'm really close to piecing it together all the way! Anyways, what's not pictured is the rear gfx piece, they're getting touched up, the 1.75" dropzone will go on next week, and I'm getting it tinted next week. Plus I need to wash it, and polish the wheels for a real good pic, but here's a teaser
also check out details http://www.cardomain.com/ride/492850/1

oops, the image is too big but check cardomain

what else should I do? How much tint would look good, but not be *totally* illegal?

Heres the picture for everyone Your car looks great btw Id say 15% all around would look good or somewhere between 15-25% on the sides and 5-15% on the back window. and to get a picture to show up like that just do "[ IMG ] URL [ / IMG] (without spaces)"

I like how you did the rally stripes on the cowl. Very well done overall.

Hey it looks so much better in person, I'm dissapointed in the pics. I'll get a picture of it in the sun, the color is a lot nicer.

And btw, that spoiler wasn't mine, mine's a 91z spoiler, but you can't see the posts in the picture ha!

There's a couple more things left to do on the outside, but overall I'm very pleased. I'm so glad that I had the board for inspiration, if i didn't have cars like customz28's, kandies, 18inchboyd's, and a bunch of others then I wouldn't have any success what soever
If I'd never been to the board I'd never of known that a dropped, shaved, clean 91 style camaro sittin on 18's is one of the most beautiful cars in the world, that can get a lot done!

I remember I wanted those same Eagle wheels back in the day. Never saw them on a 3rdgen until now. As for what else to do, I say drop some $$ on some good struts/shocks to match with those dropzone springs.

Did you have to run adapters with those wheels? I think theyre like a 30something+ offset FWD wheel right?

No they're a 4th gen offset, and yeah I run spacers.
And my dad has a hookup on kyb struts, I know they're not the best but that's probably what I'll end up running

very nice lookin'

Any shots of the engine bay? Or maybe the underside of the hood.

I need more clearance for my motor, but want to keep the outside of my car toned down and sleek. That hood does a good job at doing that. Any idea how much overal hight you gained with the hood? Esspecially right over the motor? Thanks.

K, I updated with the tint, and now it's in the day time so the blue shows up a lot better

Oh, hey, I'm all for people's opinions. Yeah I think a thicker five spoke with more dish would be ideal, my next set will probably be something along those lines. But for now I like these, but that's yeah. I picked these cause they're like the C5's, but thicker and more square.

is that a jogblode (spelling) hood? if so, could you take a pic from inside the car looking into the cowl, i'm thinking about it but i'd need to see a shot from inside to decide.

Yeah it's a Jongbloed hood. I'll see if I can get a pic from the inside. I can see just fine, I don't even notice it at all. The only complaints I have are from (short) girls

Different car, same hood. Heres what it looks like from the drivers seat. Not to bad, but definatly blocks a little bit.

KBeez, I like the wheels!

VIDA! The car looks great, I agree about the stripes though. If it were mine, I'd keep the wheels, and change the stripes.

Thanks johnny! I think If I do that hood i'll add some mesh material in the cut outs. are those cut-outs stock or do you have to cut them yourself? and i really dig the full tank! wish mine was!

They were cut out already. Just filled the tank up to help the rear springs settle!
