Driveway Stains/Sand Worms
I didn't know where i should post this. I have some really nasty driveway stains from a VERY VERY leaky Transmission that at this moment is being fixed. I've used Kitty Litter and then De-greaser. I also used a Scrub brush. That helped A LITTLE. Is there any way that i can get those stains removed once and for all? Do i have to say a word three times to summon the right Cleaner?

If anyone has a " Popular Mechanics " magazine, there sometimes is an ad for some kind of powder that you put on the stains & it's supposed to be gauranteed to absorb practicaly
all the grease & oils form the automotive industry.
If I can ever find an ad for it I'd like to try it
I've done the same as you with less than stellar results!!
My next venture will put Dawn dishwashing soap against Simple Green.

Re: Driveway Stains/Sand Worms
is your driveway asphault or concrete? if concrete try using some varsol, works well.
pour some onto the stain, enough to cover it, and hit it with a wire brush with some elbow grease. then put some oilsorb (kitty litter stuff) ontop and grind it in with your feet until the surface appears dry. sweep up with a broom and dust pan. stain should be gone or nearly gone. repeat if nessessary.
however do not use this process of asphault, the varsol will break down the oils in the paving and could ruin the driveway.
good luck.

its not always the best solution but pour gasoline on it and wipe it up with an old towel.

Sears sells a driveway cleaner called Drive Up Super Cleaner. You just spray it one, let it absorb overnight, then hose it off.Works really great on oil/trans stains(concrete).Dont know how itll work on asphalt, but it works great on concrete.
