I was wondering what accessories you could get to 3gen. Some are really rare..
I got this idea 'cause I thought that I wanna get them all to my '88 firebird..

I came up with these accessories: (are there even more)

-Power windows (I have)
-Power mirrors (I have)
-Leather seats
-Digital cauges with that car "computer" and A/C with buttons.
-Electric rear view mirror
-The thing on the roof where you can set some dates(?) and there was a flashlight also. I don't know the right word for that thing but I think you know what I mean.


What else?

 

You're thinking of the overhead console. A lot of folks like 'em, a lot do not for some reason...

how about:

interior:
- rear cargo cover
- stock carpeted plastics
- T-top shades
- T-top bag
- factory lear siegler/recaro seats
- performance sound option
- delco-loc II radio

exterior:
- notchback hatch
- special appearance package (gl finding one though )
- any of the dealer offered body kits
- REAR LOUVERS! especially the 1 piece aluminum ones

The carpeted interior pieces were on earlier cars. My brother's 85Z28 had all the rear plastics in the hatch that were carpeted. Also his came with the overhead console with the little bag and flashlight, and his car had a rear wiper on it too. He still has the car but he's replaced most of the interior pieces but still has the overhead console, and he got rid of the rear wiper, he thought it was ugly. I agree on that.

Hey, he asked for accessories that came with a thirdgen (i.e. factory equipment) so I figured these counted. Mine had come with T-tops and I was fortunate enough to get the bag. Otherwise I probably wouldn't have known our cars got 'em

What use those t-top shades got? I rather watch the sky than that. At least its a t-top not normal roof..

 

From what I'm aware, they're more for use when your car is parked to prevent sun damage to the interior.

 

something that I have seen very little of is the overhead console aka european package.. Very few of these left.. I my area, I think there is only mine and 1 other one..

Mine are tinted. I think its does the same and looks cooler. And its easier..

I remembered one "accessory" more. Cardan shaft made of aluminium. I got that in my bird.. It's little bit lighter.
