Got 2nd Place In The Unfinished Class At The Car Show Today
I'm was pretty proud of the camaro today, placed 2nd in the biggest class at the show. I won a trophy and a bag of goodies.
My son helped me dry the car off and clean the wheels and tires.

2002 LQ9, LS1 intake, Stock manifolds... nothing special yet.
My plans are LS3 topend with a TSP 228R, 1 7/8 headers, and a T56.
Interior of the car needs some work. It has new carpet but needs a new seat cover set and a/c and i will be set.
I am trying to figure out a way to piece together an a/c system on the elchepo. Buying all new parts is not cheap.

Yea i know they are a eye sore... Im going to go 4th gen on the tanks but i havent had time to go to the junk yard to get them. We have been going to car shows every weekend. Its been a lot of fun. I got online and found every car show around and made a spreadsheet in excel and there are enough to go to one every weekend all summer.
I also need to order black silicone hoses for my intake and get rid of those red ones.
You would be suprized at how many people thought that engine came in that car...
The best moment of the day was when i guy was looking at a mustang across from me and seen my car and was like " holy crap an i roc " and came over and started to look the car over. He then starts to ask questions
(the guy) Is it a V8? (me) Yea...
(the guy) Is it fuel injected? (me) Yea...
(the guy) Stock rearend? (me) Yea... (the guy) PSSSSSHHHH.... and walks off LMAO
I was rollin lol.
He didnt have enough knowledge to tell if it was a v8 or if it was fuel injected but the stock rear end was a deal breaker for him lol
