Hey guys, I am getting my car painted soon, and I am trying to think of a nice custom paint job. I have been really thinking about getting deep deep black with blue ghost flames on the car, but now someone has me thinking silver stripes. Any opinions???? Thanks alot.

 

Ghost flames would look a lot better with your hood than stripes, me thinks. I've seen blue ghost flames on black before, and didn't really like them. How about silver ghost flames?

 

Definitely not stripes with that hood.In my opinion,of course. Deep Metallic silver with lighter silver ghost flames. Black with deep dark purple ghost flames. The only way stripes would look good is if you went with the body lines of the scoops. IMO

 

Yeah, I was thinking about silver. I've seen silver stripes on a new T/A, that's how I did my comparison. LOL. I'm just trying to see if anyone can give me any different ideas that I haven't thought of yet. The Ghost Flames are still at the top, and I think I'll look into your silver idea. Thanks

 

Heres a suggestion if you are going for a "custom paint job", some fire colored flames!

 

I'd agree too, no stripes with the hood. I would go with silver flames but that's me.

 

I pesonally don't think that would look good on mine(the red and orange flames), plus I don't want something that is like HEY look over here, I get that with the hood. I want something subtle but noticable. That is why I was thinking of Ghost flames, you'd still notice it. Thanks for the idea though. Hey Mark, I like the Silver Flames idea too, just wanna see what everyone can come up with. Maybe I can get the paint shop to show me a computer drawing of what it would look like, or maybe you photoshop guys could help, thanks. I had been trying to think of colors for flames before. Someone suggested Candy Apple Green into a white, lol. If I had 86Street's car with the cowl hood, I think that would look pretty sweet.

 

Instead of regular ghost flames, how about ghost flames that turn into ghost smoke. Not sure how you would do this, might take a real skilled painter. I can picture it in my head, all in shades of silver/grey.
