I don't think I can handle this, anymore. It's like the whole car is a crust that will look like....the paint of an 89 Taurus. Any time i touch it, wash it, my legs get weak fall to the floor like an archeologist studying an ancient relic (paint).
This car spent most of time in a garage when driven 1000 miles a year. And it's afraid of the sun. I applied some 303 on a microfiber gently wiping and like majic cracks appear after the wipe! Not one section of molding had more then two iddy-biddy cracks just..

I'm gonna look through the threads here, maybe it's not the end of the world but i thought I'd share all the imperfections that are eating me from the inside out!
This was today. It's had a repaint before. No stickers, overspray. No biggie. The crappy prep work is.
It's nice to be able to have your windows down showing off that perfect molding and lustrous black interior dash with no cracks. That's coming to an end.. I think my rubber is alergic to 303. Its worse then the images appear. Nothing to cry over but..dammm..
This was TODAY, 4 hours prior to the above pic. No cracks. Majic. (..no camera trickery, i promise you)
That sucks. I think anyone on here would be bummed if that happened to them. There are a couple of good knowledgable paint guys on here who might be able to give you some info on what happened or if there is anything you can do to help stop it. Definitely looks like bad prep work tho.
Just overnight, only hours from when i made this post i went over every inch of the car noting the paint flaws only and a window scrapper.
It got hit pass. side front corner in a parking lot few months ago after so thats gonna rip apart. It's torn open the gap got bigger just over night.
I will still wash and caress it and try to save all these things from getting worse. Theirs more damage too ill upload pics. It was pushed with a forklift at the auction because they couldn't get it started.
It looks like I backed into a brick wall. gravity........

What do you expect exactly? It's a 30 year old car with a crappy respray. Orange peel everywhere, dents and dings, etc. It almost IS an 89 Taurus. Worth slightly more because of what it is but the paint doesn't look like a brand new $40k car because it's neither new, nor worth $40k.
Pull it apart, sand it down, and put on a proper paint job. Just the nature of owning something this old that has been repaired and repainted.
And yeah those wheels are HIDEOUS. And everyone you drive by sees the wheels and the body damage and just shakes their head. That is a terrible look on a classic 90's body.
It doesn't matter "who pays lotta money", it looks ridiculous with the wheels looking like a thread spool.

Ya think thats what every one thinks when they see it hmmm. I've never heard that before. I drive it in public all the time and I've never heard anyone say otherwise. It's mainly, "those rims make that car man!!" and "dude i didn't wanna park next to you...that mutherfxxxzz is niiice, bro!!, and, "no way! A 91?...thats 1 BAD ride, bro!".....
the women......a whole different story. I know this..ill never change those rims. I don't even race man. Just watch everyone rev high on me when the spot me..like imma race em! Must be the dark tint. dunno.

Oh really? I would of never thought it to be like that due to the impossibility of a thicker tire size. The rim diameter and wheel well clearance does not allow for it.
lmao now I get the thread spool. too funny you are right. 20 yrs ago had a caddy deville with tru spoke wheels for show. it looked so gangster the cops would pull it over all the time. One said i looked like a cockroach.
