This is a Nomination Thread for cars that will compete for this month's Car of the Month honor. The most popularly nominated cars will be compiled into a Voting Thread within a couple weeks.
You can either nominate somebody else's car, or second a nomination (but not both). Cars must have a second nomination in order to make it to the Voting Thread.
Nomination Guidelines
Nominations must be of high quality, finished state, and in working order. No unrealistic, overly processed images. Please accompany the nomination with,
a single large, high quality photo
name of TGO member (with proper caps and spaces)
year, make, and model of car
Do not nominate your own car. Your car must be nominated by another TGO member. Cars must have a second nomination in order to continue to the Voting Thread.
Likewise, do not ask another family member or friend to join TGO for the purpose of nominating your car. Do not use multiple member accounts to nominate your own car.
Do not nominate more than one car.
If you are nominated, please DO go out and take an abundance of good quality photos of your car (multiple angles, interior, engine) and make them publicly accessible (for example via a photo album in your public profile, or some sort of hyperlink to your photo album).

We have 3 nominations, and I'm not sure yet if all 3 will be able to attend (could be only 2).
I'm going to spin the "Wheel of Random" since we're a little slim on cars this month. Just as a reminder how this works, I let a random number generator choose a former & eligible COTM contestant from the last 2 years. That person has been selected and I've reached out to them with short notice in the last hour. If that doesn't work out then we'll move forward anyway with the great cars we already have.
For the new guys, please pull together some nice pictures of your car (inside, outside, engine bay, and whatever else you want). Double check those photos, please make sure interiors are clean. We definitely enjoy hearing your story, info about the car, etc. It's really up to you how simple or fancy you do this, but I can tell you that some people really enjoy good back stories so don't hesitate to share. Videos are cool too. Most us old fogies don't make videos but I think it would be a refreshing change around here.
This is really your moment to enjoy the spotlight so have fun. I'll start the Voting thread tomorrow, so hold all your photos and stories until then.
It really was a random choice but it couldn't have worked out better in my mind. I looked back at his COTM history and he had removed himself from competition due to still being in process of fixing up some minor things in the interior. Didn't really get a fun run at COTM, so this time is really his first run as well. Couldn't have planned it better even if I tried!
I went over the car today and gave it a good detail, taking it to the park tomorrow for some good new pics, should they be posted in this thread or somewhere else?
