My new hood, quitting the vomit inducing.

First photo at the Fbody Beach Bash this past weekend.
second photo is before fitting the hood and before screwing the louver down.

Re: My new hood, quitting the vomit inducing.

Thank you! The vomit was getting deep, and it smelled really bad. Toxic.

Your new hood looks excellent! But so did your RA2 hood.

Just because some knucklehead, who always has to be RIGHT, and who believes his own opinion is the ONLY one that should matter to EVERYONE, expressed himself in such an ignorant way, it doesn't mean your RA2 hood was "wrong" or bad. It's ok to have a vision, an open mind, think outside of the box and be creative with "these cars."

Your new hood is very "cool" and quite unique. Congrats on your project. You created a great looking hood. And I think your choice of a matte/satin black finish on the louver works well with the charcoal metallic paint. Gloss black might've made the louver appear to want to "jump off" of the charcoal metallic hood.

100% agree with LAfireboyd, also don’t mind honesty. So if it happens to induce anger or vomit, I can’t help but laugh so I’d like to know lol. Definitely one the best quotes I’ve seen used lol.

aside from that, love the creative work! Has a sleeker/stock look. Also, matches the black detail on car.

Thanks everyone. I purposely used that signature because I had the hood. Still like hood, was just time for something different.

Re: My new hood, quitting the vomit inducing.

The new hood looks great!

As for the debate, to each his own. I never liked the 4th gen "Ram Air" hood. I had a '98 Trans Am convertible without the Ram Air option. To me, the extra 15 horsepower wasn't worth adding those giant nostrils to the hood. To me, it literally ruined the look of the car. The comparable option on the 4th gen Camaro was handled much better.

I saw your thread on the wind deflector in the convertible section. I did not notice you had the RA2 hood on it. I also have a 92 T/A Vert. I definitely enjoyed having the RA2 on the car and also received many compliments. It was just time for something different. I'm holding onto the hood though, just incase I ever want to reinstall it on the car and give this power bulge back to the Formula I removed it from.

Re: My new hood, quitting the vomit inducing.

I really like the RA11 hood but I don't like the later models with the double scoop. People call that later hood the PIG nose and I can understand why.

Thank you! I wish I had more time to detail and finish it up. I had to take it as is. Same with the Jade vert in the background. Did not get either car up to par. Was a good time either way.

Weather didn't make it easy. I just went to a drive thru wash and called it good, rather look at other cars than detail a car with rain possible. Agree, overall a good time. Me and my wife plan on going next year also.
