cop car or just red

hey guys,
I'm trying to decide if I should just paint my car red again, or turn it into a cop car. the sherrif's car would be white with a green and gold stripe down the side, with a light bar on top and a sheriff's star on the rear quarter panel. so red or a cop car?

no one needs to paint a car, its a want, and I would love to drive around in a trans am sheriff interceptor. or just paint it red again.

Silent.....Are you a sheriff? If you are, that would be ok. Around here a dude bought a Mustang that use to be a cop car(blue and white)He had to paint it before he could take it out on the road. Something about impersonating an officer. Just a thought.

Do it like the interceptors in Mad Max!!!

I'm surprised in a way that you want to take your work home with you. Must be nice to enjoy your job that much. Personally I'd choose red.

Just out of curiosity, why does your profile say you're a "customer rep"?

Maybe he's an undercover cop. Of course then painting th car would kind give it away.

I say go with red.

I think I remember him saying that he was a volunteer cop right now, getting ready to take his sheriff's tests.

hey guys
right now I'm a volenteer with the sheriff's office. actually I just submitted an application today(after passing all the tests) to be a full time deputy sheriff. can't wait to get on the force. but I see all these dare cars driving around, like a 95 vette, and a miata. and I just say damn I want one. so technically I am sworn in so there is no trouble with the law.

Why not do it up as a dare car? Doesn't have to be black does it? Red bird with a lightbar...

I just say put some wig-wags in the headlights ($60), and get a little light to stick in your windshield ($64), plus a siren ($124). That way you don't have to worry about putting a lightbar on your car, and you can paint it red. If you need any more information, go to www.galls.com They have all kinds of good s*it.
