interesting stuff....
I wonder what the difference would have been if the subject car was a thirdgen camaro with 13 year old original paint. Anybody wanna do THAT test?

In my opinion theres no polish better but to each there own. I know when I had the original paint Zaino worked wonders on it, and actually kept me from painting it another year. Had I not smacked the car up who knows it still may have been wearing the original paint. I've used Mothers and Mcguires and never saw the instant improvement Zaino gave.
And for what it's worth theres a debate raging over Duragloss being the same or having the same ingrediants as Zaino at about a third of the costs. I haven't tried it but I've been assured by quite a few that results are the same.

Been there, done that. I used Meguires Gold Class exclusively before the Zaino, and even my co-workers can see the difference. The paint looks wetter. Besides, I havn't had to re-apply anything for a month now. I've washed and dried the car twice, nothing else and it still looks fantastic. I seem to pick up far less dust than before as well. I'm a convert.

I used to use Meguiars but it takes too long to get off. Gave a nice shine though.

Zaino by far. I used to use Mequires in the past then when I swtiched to Zaino the shine was better, lasted longer easier to apply and remove and I like it better
Here is my old mans car with 2 coats of Zaino on it

I hate to say it, but I think his product is over rated. If it was gold, a major company would have bought him out and put it on the market in full force and be making a killing off of it. Snake oil I call it, or is it know as zano..

Brian,
There are several reasons why Sal markets his product the way he does but that’s for another topic.
The application process is not a simple one like you see on the nu-finish adds. (wipe it on and like magic you have a new car)
The polish is unparalleled. I have never seen polish bead water like this before and it is safe for decals too. This in itself makes it a superior product.
