4 gen dash in a 3rd gen

I notice several people have converted from the third gen dash and console setup to the fourth gen setup. Has anyone actually make the conversion and kept their ac/heater setup? I'm thinking of doing this, but I want to keep my ac/heater, since I use them.

Charlotte, North Carolina.

I currently have my 92 Camaro RS in the shop, and am wanting to change everything over at once, if need be. So I'm needing assistance with what needs to be done and such, so I can make out the plan and find the parts.

I read the site on that pciture you posted. That person didn't use the center vents, but instead put gauges there. This is what I play on doing.

Replacing dash and console with those of a 4th gen T/A. Maybe a 97+ if possible.
Replacing door panels with those of a the same year as dash and console.
Replacing climate control piece. I don't like the 3 gen one, plus it needs to be replace.
Also swapping motor to a LT1, which is a whole other topic.

This is what I want it too like. Any idea what year it is?
Now my main concerns are:

When changing the dash, would it be best to use the underdash ventilation from the 4th gen oppose to what I have now?
When changing the climate control, would I need to change the dash wiring? If I have to change the dash wiring, would I have the change the power window switches and such? I'm just trying to cover my ***. It would suck to find all this out, while doing it, and not having the needed parts.

Yeah the pic you posted is from a Camaro interior. The pic FlynLow posted is from a T/A. If you want the guage pods then get a T/A dash. You will have to rewire everything. Everything. Use the 4th gen ducts or build your own.

Don't want the gauge pod. I do, however, really like the 97+ camaro interior. Is there anything else that I need to get when I pickup the dash, console and door panels?
