IMO I think the 82-84 T/A / 87-92 Formula hoods look the best on ANY firebird... i guess I am biased...

bought it from www.ftforce.com, which is owned by RaceNet One (www.racenetone.com). this is not to be confused with www.racenet.com, which is very reputable. if anyone's interested, i wrote a big post about it all in the vendor review forum...i guess it doesn't matter too much since i'll get my money back, but it's still a major PITA that i'll be cowl-hoodless and $450 poorer for the next 6 weeks.

CamaroRS385hp,

Sorry to hear you got ripped off. You kind of paid a lot though, $450 for the Big Block hood from ASCD? I got mine for $348 from Computer Nerds in Ca. Their email is cnerds@sbcglobal.net If you're weiry about buying a hood from a small business, you can always buy it direct from ASCD. I think they're selling that hood for around $410. Good luck!

back on to the thread topic, I've contacted Rex Orr (of ASCD) about having ASCD produce SS hoods for firebirds. He told me he was interested in the idea, and I'm waiting on a response to my second email. I will post any new news I get on the subject.
