lol...its hard to get those out without breaking the plastic.But yeah,always wondered why they had that bird there.Probably the map pocket was a late addition

The el-cheapo base interior didn't get a map pocket so the molded in bird on the dash is what you got. With the deluxe interior you got a map pocket there. Starting in 1984 Pontiac started putting a printed bird emblem on the map pocket.
