Im gonna use this product to paint the underside of my camaro. Im gonna use it in the sealer mixture and im wondeting if I have to top coat it after im done? I was gonna do the underbody and the engine bay. Opinions? http://www.tcpglobal.com/restoration...pepoprime.aspx
If you don't seal the car, or at least prime the entire car so it's the same color underneath the paint, you'll have different pigments unless you do a crap ton of coats. Especially if it's metallic paint. I just repainted my car. Ask me how I know.
Links broke but I would ask them what they recommend on the coating. Typically if it will accept a top coat its a good idea to do it. Not all undercoatings can be top coated though.
Hrm... It showed up under "New Posts", which is why I commented. Odd.
Edit: Or maybe not? I thought this was the thread I was posting in. I have no idea how it landed here. I knew something was odd when there was only one post. I must've scrolled too far to the bottom and hit the related thread deal. Ugh. Sorry folks!
