Mod RECOMMENDATION!

I drive a 1984 V6 2.8L Camaro Sports Coupe and I want to soup it up as much as possible without swapping the engine just yet.
Don't care for speed, my main goals are increased torque/horsepower and fuel efficiency.

Which of these two mods would give me the best/most instant results in achieving these goals and why:
1. Sub-frame Connectors
2. Strut Tower Brace

Any other recommended mods that have worked for you guys?

Neither of those things has to do with torque, horsepower or fuel efficiency. The subframe connectors will help with handling so I would do that over a tower brace. I would also do a wonder bar before a tower brace.

Maybe check out the V6 forum where you can get input from experienced V6 folks. https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/v6/

Oh lawd! Don't send him there! Or maybe... It's a working scientific theory that the V6 forum only exists to get the crazy V6 thirdgen ideas off the mainstream subforums. Give them their own area where they can't cause too much damage.

The 1984 spec 2.8 isn't worth messing with. Push it very hard and it'll break. Nothing you can do to a carbed 2.8 is going to do much more than just make it run worse, or make it sound terrible. It's literally a dead end. The best plan is either an engine swap, or a car swap.

What he said... or put it behind a V8 tow truck! Sorry, that's just rude but you get the drift.

I don't know, there's been some epic bad ideas in the Engine Swap and Appearance forums. I don't know if anything can top the shizzle that happens over there.

Hey at least the "bolt 5 Firebird spoilers to your car to make it look like a dragon" trend finally passed.
