Hood comes up in one spot?

Hey guys, got an original iroc hood from a junkyard, installed it on my car and the hood rises above the fender on the drivers side just a bit. It fit fine on the junkyard car so I really have no idea why it's like this on my car. Pictures included.

Adjust the bump-stops. Make sure the hinges are not binding...

Its probably a combo of things. Hood could be slightly tweaked and your fenders are aligned to your old hood. Just play with all the adjustable points. Rubber stops, hinges, ect. Have someone help you as you loosen things up as these hoods are a pain.

Had no idea it was possible to align the fenders lol. Where would i find the screws to loosen so i can give that a try?

Start with the hood first since that's the main variable you changed. Don't mess with the fenders until you know exactly what you have in the hood. Play with the hood adjustments and go from there.

Something has hit the hood on the underside, poking it up near that edge.

When I first saw this thread, the pics did not load. Now that I see them, it looks to me like the hood is tweaked from a minor collision...

Agreed, it's either that, or, someone in the past closed the hood with a tool of some sort still sitting on the inner lip of the fender, and the OP didn't notice it's tweaked when he bought the hood at the junkyard......

wouldn't make sense though since it lined up fine with the other car...
