rear brake lines for 92 camaro
I purchased a complete Baer brake kit from Year One. The front track system comes complete with rotors, calipers and front brake lines. The rears only come with a 12" rotor, and I have to use the OE caliper and brake lines. While I'm installing everything I'd like to replace the old rear brake lines also, but I don't know if anybody sells just rear lines? If not, does anybody know the length and what pieces are on the ends? I can go to the local speed shop and have them made out of what -3 or -4 AN line?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you're talking about the hard "steel" lines on the rear axle:

Also, AndyZ28 quite possibly could hook you up.

No I'm talking about steel braided replacements for the worn out ones that connect to the caliper.

Yeah..go with Earl's lines. Good quality pieces. If you end up just using the rear lines, you could unload the fronts very easily. I'd take 'em.

92, and yes it came from the factory with rear brakes. non/1LE.
If nobody makes just a rear kit, I'd like to just find out the length of the stock ones and just make some up. There is a place close by that is pretty good with steal braided line. Just tell him the length and what connectors you need and your golden.

For anyone else that wants stainless steel tubing (not the flex hoses), http://www.classictube.com is another tubing place. Not sure about the other two mentioned, but at classic, you can get either OE steel or stainless. You can also buy "just" a rear axle kit, with the two hard lines.

I guess I could be picky but I would call baer and get the rear lines.. when you buy kits directly from them that is an option I am sure they have them separately..something about sticking with the same manufacturer that gives a warm fuzzy.

I did call BAER today and they said, they don't carry stock replacement lines, they only carry lines for there touring, pro touring etc.. kits. Baer or Year One, which ever designed this 4 wheel disc kit thought that the rear OEM brake hoses are adequate enough for the 12" rear rotors I received. I guess I can just go to a dealership and purchase a OEM rear brake hose and have it duplicated at the speed shop, unless sombody here knows the specs???

I may be wrong but don't some of the later model f-bodies already have the pbr rear setup? if so the Baer track lines will hook right up.. if not go with Earls, keep the extras as spares or sell them on the board if you want to unload them..
IMO I would not however go to a speed shop to get them duplicated.. something there sounds a little too hack and stick for me.. especially with the brakes.. good luck!

It's starting to look like I'm going to have to go with the Earl's.
Thanks for everybody's input.
