ls1 brake line adapters
hey just picked up a set of ls1 rear disc to swap onto my car, i know the brake lines have the wrong flare and i have heard there is an adapter i could buy to remidy this, anyone know where to get it? thanks

Napa but you'll have to go through the catalog.

I just did the LT1 changeover on my rear and got a set of hoses with regular brake line thread and changed them at the banjo fittings. Works great.
I don't remember what the parts guy used, but I think they were just older GM hoses.

hoses? i was under the impression that the hard line runbs right into the rear calipers... am i wrong?

Yep...each caliper will have its own flex hose, you'll have a total of 5 flex hoses on the car now.

hmmm interesting, so i quess i will try and get a set of ss braid to match the set i have on the car now, but i will be sure to get the right thread and flare for the old style double flare, this seems kinda simple thanks!

If you need rear braided lines, LMK...I have a ton of Earl's lines on hand.

hey ed, if you have ones that will work for me i would love to get a set. tey would have to fit the ls1 rear calipers and recieve the old sytle double flare. thanks

Yes, the lines I have will work. I'll send you a PM. Also, what kind of rear hard lines do you have: disc or drum? If you have drum rear lines you'll need to shorten them or swap them out for disc lines.

hey ed, i have a drum rear with drum brake lines, somewhat recently replaced with ss hard lines. i think i can shorten them, might be a bitch though.
