Correct M/C for disc/disc setup?
Will this Master cylinder work for a front- rear disc setup?

I know that, but when I browse other car part stores, the M/C for third gen Camaro has the same stock numbers for both disc/disc and disc/drum setups, so my question is;: Do all Camaro M/C's function on both types of setup?

The only difference between the disc rear and drum rear master cylinders is the pedal effort and travel. Either one will work.

That's what I thought, but I wanted to hear it from one of you guys to be sure.
Thank you for your reply!
By the way. Do you know if these M/C's have the same bolt pattern as the older "typical hot rod" cast Corvette master cylinders?

Because if it does, it will be possible to conect the newer Camaro M/C to hot rod boosters like this one:

Even if the bolt pattern is the same, the fluid connections are metric on most thirdgen master cylinders.

Recently I was trying to get master cyl. and visited an on-line shop and noted that the kit number change with the type of rear brake system.

What is the difference? I'm swapping a 9 bolt with 12" PBR discs into an '89 Formula with rear drum brakes. What differences can I expect to fin in pedal effort and travel?

Sean, if you currently have drum brakes, you have the correct M/C for the rear disc swap.
