Well first thing to check is the blue amp turnon/antenna wire and make sure it's all connected correctly, and then once you're sure the thing is getting power, you'll know it's probably the motor.

the bose take player didnt work at all before (But it did have power) but the attena iteself never moved. All the cords/wires from the cdplayer are good, so it must be the motor?

Have you checked the power antenna relay mounted under the dash on the passenger side near the ECM?

Check the Pink Wire running from the radio to the power antenna relay. The pink wire is the "switched" power from the radio to the relay....... turn on the radio and the relay gets power. If the pink wire is not hooked to the radio correctly than the relay will never send the "up" signal to the antenna motor.

Also --> take the passenger side kick panel off and look for Green, White or Gray wires that are cut. When these motors go bad people usually just cut these Power antenna wires to stop the motor from killing thier battery !!! These wires are sent thru the body in the same hole as the antenna cable so they should be easy to find ! Once you find them you can also follow the wires back to the antenna relay,......... it's mounted behind the dash on the camaro and is a real *itch to get at !!!!!

Since I threw my power antenna out and put a black whip on, I use the antenna relay to turn on my amps
