Re: Kick Panel Speakers

It has been covered countless times & I've seen sets for sale in the Classifieds here on TGO. As for a specific size, I'm not sure. 6.5" might be pushing it, or max, to fit in the kick panels.

Re: Kick Panel Speakers

I just built my own to fit 6.5" speakers:

https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/car-...els-again.html

Not sure I've seen them being sold to fit 6.5" speakers. It's fairly easy to do - lots of members have done them.

I started on them a while back, I'm going to finish them today. I'll let these go for $100, but if I ever have to build them from scratch again it'll be $125 + shipping. $150 + shipping covered in black vinyl. (thats what I have on hand)

Is Jim making them for 6.5s. Try a search for jim+kick+panels or something like that and see what you can dig up.

Jim85iroc....he makes custom kick panels (or used to).

Also try q-forms kick panels. A bit expensive but it's a simple drop in.

Best to try to make some yourself and maybe get a set of cheap kick panels to practice on. There are already some good DIY links posted on this thread.

Re: Kick Panel Speakers

I have a set of custom kick panels that I purchased from a member here years ago, with Polk component speakers and crossovers included. Kicks alone would run about $150, maybe a bit less, plus whatever I decide I need to get for the speakers. They are not 6.5"...smaller, but can't remember exact size. 6.5" seem like they'd get in the way of your feet.

Anyway, there is one other member on here ahead of you who is considering them. If you have interest, I can PM you pics and details if he passes on them.

Re: Kick Panel Speakers

I'm guessing that Crutchfield link was supposed to be for their Q-Forms kick panels. I think they're butt-ugly.
