I don't think so, but then again, I like having at least a casette since I still have some and listen to them. But it does have the MP3 player input which is good, so yeah, in the end, guess it all works out.

Re: my radio btw
A cassette would at least have looked better i know but it sorta helps make for a theft deterent..but i will have 80's song on my mp3
...as far as the correct year, thats what i was really lookin for but they are crazy for some prices so maybe this deck will just be a stepping stone to an upgrade in the future.

I like to get a flip up dvd screen deck but really don't see the practical purpose of one unless you're waiting on someone to meet you, coming out of the store,or in a traffic jam.Besides I can put that money into mods or general upkeep I guess...maybe upgrade to a 3.4 since I got to change cam and lifters(while it's opened up..).

Re: my radio btw
yea i agree, i can see spending the money on that kinda crap, even back a few years ago when i was making real good money and money wasnt an issue, i still didnt see a need in it, granted i got the best alpine you could get, and real nice speakers, but its was worth it, it sounds so good, even when i put the stock head unit in it sounds great
a stock unit will sound good with nice speakers, heck in my old van i just put some cheap 3 ways in it (and i mean cheap $30 a pair) and everyone who heard it thought i had expensive speakers in it, and a nice radio, and they crap a brick when they seen a stock chrysler radio in it
i do have an eclipse (not the car the radio brand) in it now
