Infinity front speakers?

Does anyone have these? I have Infinity 6X9's in the rear, and want to replace the crappy Pioneers I presently have in the front. Does anyone know if these sound decent?

Yes, I have an older set of the 4"x6" plates, and I'm very pleased with them, I also have the 6"x9"'s replaced with Infinitiy speakers. I don't remember the exact model number as it's been about six years, but like I said, I'm happy with them.

I had the infinity plates. Nice sounding highs, but with a speaker that small, you wont get much mids or any lows. I believe the speaker is a 3" round in the 4x6 plates.

I just put some Infinity Reference 4x6 plates in the front of my GTA. I think they sound really good.

I have Infinity Kappa 4 inch with the Satellite tweeters, they are pricey but sound great when driven with enough amp.

If you want to buy the References, buy the OLD ones!!

The new ones sound nice, but I returned mine to Circuit City after 3 months. They sounded fine, but the woofer cones are now made of a stiffer material, and the cones actually devloped hairline cracks, running from the center of the woofer to the edge.

Needless to say, this is odd...but these are a new design, and I wouldn't be surprised if more people have this problem with the new speakers.

Oh by the way, when I posted this over at NEThirdgen, some guy accused me of over-driving them. They were crossed over at 300hz, with the bass on the head unit set at 0. Every installer I showed them to just shook their head and said it must be just a crappy woofer material.

THE CMMD 4x6s are really good....just add spacers to make them fit.
