Double Din
I've had lots of emails regarding the dash kit i made for my camaro so i am deciding to do a write up with pics about it.
Pic 2 is center console out and Pic 3 is the center support tab cut off. I have seen some with the whole middle support has been removed and it may work but i don't want the console to start and split or get wider over the years as well as may cause gaps after trim plate has been made.

Re: Double Din
Pic 1 is the air vents had to be melted down to accommodate the larger size of the double din. They could have been cut off but mine are still functional as is does help keeping it warm for the two weeks of winter here in AZ. Pic 2 is the aluminum brackets i made to hold radio and mount to dash of vehicle. Pic 3 is sizing up and seeing what needs to be cut and filled

Pic 1 Is test fitting kit on deck. Pic 2 is light body filler to fill in any gaps that may have been missed and masked off where i don't want any texture coating like the inside where AC controls mount and the outside edges of the dash. Pic 3 Is texture coated to match original texture and painted with SEM Landau black paint.

Re: Double Din
Some ask what CA glue is and its Cyanoacrylate adhesive or Super Glue. That is a older Alpine IVA-W205 I now have the Alpine IVE-W535HD and it bolted right in without any modifications. The old Alpine was sold. The Iphone or Ipod cable are in the center console. I used Poof or black suede flocker to finish the inside so it was the luxury BMW or MB feel.
