Jet Change Tool
Changing jets on a 650 Demon.
I can do the primaries easy enough with a flat blade screwdriver but the secondaries are a pig to get at because the distributor is in the way.
I used a flat blade 3/8 socket without the drive and turned it with a small adjustable wrench. This worked but it's a halfassed way to do it could easily break the jet.
The Holley jet change tool is just a screwdriver and would'nt fit unless it could be bent 90*
Any suggestions on this.

Try using Max Jets (check Jegs). They use a standard 6 point wrench/socket to remove instead of the flat heads. That'd be the easiest solution I think.

I'm surprised that Holley doesn't make a wrench for this. Mostly I run the car at Mosport which is a fairly fast road course similar to Watkins Glen where you can end up dead in less time than it takes to say "take off the metering block and hold it in your hand" so I like to check the car over in the half hour or so between run groups and I would rather not spend any more time than necessary with things like changing jets. I guess I may have to just fab something up for this.

Thanks, I didn't realize that the block came off that easily. Gaskets for the bowl sort of tore a bit when I took them off but were OK so that's why I didn't feel like taking it apart any further. I got some new gaskets for the bowls and blocks.
