ODB need your help

Which hole on the acell-pump rod assembly will give me the the biggest squirt of fuel. I have an edelbrock 750cfm performer manual choke. It came out of the box in the top hole. Thanks

The hole closest to the accelerator pump plunger should give you the biggest squirt. You basically want it set closest to the fulcrum of the little lever in order to get the most travel out of the plunger.

Yes, it's the closest one to the carb body. I had to drill another hole on the bottom lever and step up the squirter nozzles in mine to get the proper pump shot.
What do you have and what kind of adjustment does it need?

I have a 355. 10.5:1 compression ratio. edelbrock cam Lift at valve: Intake .488 Exhaust .510 Lobe Separation: 112° world product 67cc heads, 350(.030) as i said before the carb is 750cfm edelbrock performer.a torker 2 intake i have also ported the heads intake and headers so they flow great. the tranny is a 700r4 with a 2000 stall converter. i have made a few mods to the valve body. the rearend is 373 posi. The prob. sometimes when I put the gas to the floor it wants to stall for a second and then takes of like a bat out of hell. I figured the accel pump wasn't squirting enough fuel during the transtion. The pump lever has 3 holes when you say the one closest to the carb are you talking about the top hole. and if you drilled a new on was it above the top hole. Thanks. ihope this info helps

Oh yeah, you're they guy with the torker-2 intake. I remember posting about this in a different thread. Get rid of the intake and get a performer-RPM. Swapping intakes will fix you up very well.
Yes the top lever has 3 holes and the top hole is closest to the plunger or carb body. I had to drill another hole on the bottom lever and bend the rod slightly to change the stroke ratio a bit and increase the plunger travel. I also had to switch to a #43 squirter nozzle on my 750.

Some of your hesitation may also be caused by a lazy spark advance curve. What kind of distributor do you run and what is your initial and total timing?

I previously posted that my stock hood would not fit with my Performer RPM manifold. I was wrong, looks are very deceiving. It does fit, and with about 3/8" clearance. I am using a Holley carb and Edelbrock 14" drop base air cleaner.
